also with high performance levels even if we completely rebuilt the innards with many things we reached the limit, well and That's why we've definitely already built five engines for our car, but you have to say that the first programmers we had on the cars unfortunately ruined that for us, yes, it's always a combination of a shitty program failure is now no longer and fortunately no longer used on the parts above, so we now have in the program together and the but it took too long but now it's just a FF everything so yes now a question how long does such a conversion take of course it always depends on how extensive the conversion is which yes which tuning package you choose ne of course you like it with a Stage 1 with downpipe software a bit of little things at 380 hp ne you can also do it with a standard engine 450 it takes a little longer of course but of course you have to convert significantly more parts just like with a 450 500 hp variant it is of course important that you already have an exhaust or downpipe we manufacture everything in-house, so since we of course also have many other projects, uh, yes, it always works a bit step by step, so it can happen that something like that takes a little longer, of course, but a few Days are needed so if you even say it right away you want to have such a large variant on the engine type ea888 gen3 but 650 hp variant no with removing the engine disassembling all our processing steps that can take between 3 and 5 weeks yes easy easy because we still have to give away some parts to be machined we can't do everything in -house from block machining or other things balancing the crankshaft that has to be done too out of the office and then it always depends on how well staffed they are at the moment and how things are going there, but normally you can say I would say a bolt-on thing between one and two weeks depending on whether there is an exhaust system too still has to be made with us if you say professional kit there are here where the engine is opened you don't really have to think about it for less than three weeks, so you can say somewhere between 3 and 6 weeks I would have said in advance relatively low one to two weeks so now in winter we can get to a lot of golfs so I still have a woman here age namely times yes well times we have tried out with all kinds of packages we have already ridden yes 99% clear or as I said there are also upgrades things that are often installed like another intercooler and all that stuff ne has most of the skin most of it is really good for nothing so then we had EA 113 EA88 181 Gen 2 and Gen3 which is your favorite engine so gen1-2 is the same engine it is the Golf 6 GTI in it EA113 is Golf 5 GTI or Audi S3 8P for example they drive with the engines and EA888 Gen 3 is t that is in the cars so yes it is hard to say which is your personal favorite engine so in which yes no so of course everyone has their own form of disadvantages so the ea888 gen3 i would say has the best engine block with the thickest main bearing blocks and bolted bearings from the side from below and from the side is of course very cool what sucks is that the engine has the balancer shafts in it, that means you have carriers you always move with them and that just for quieter idling and the cylinder head dives Man, the cylinder head is also scrap, you have to honestly say that with the manifold that is in the cylinder head, you only screw on the turbocharger on the head, the exhaust gas paths are different in length, they are bad and you just can't get the exhaust gas out of your head at all away it all gets way too hot it gets way too hot it warps completely unsuitable for tuning the thing so then it goes naturally the gen-1-2 Golf 6 GTI is of course much better and of course the advantage because it still has a real cylinder head where you screw the manifold to the cylinder head and then the turbocharger so the engine is sad to say but actually better than the gen three and my personal favorite is the EA 113 because it's still really in I'll say cheeky iron pig the red is designed in such a way that it lasts forever that it works for a long time is simply driven I've already converted umpteen engines of it privately for us all GTI and s3s and what do I know possible all possible expansion stages all from the beginning although they came off the assembly line as AXX with 200 hp with 500 hp through the area with minimal conversion and drive and drive and drive and drive and then we thought oh that's exactly how we do it with the 888 Gen3, we do it the same way yes puff cake light years in between so my favorite is that the 113 is too definitely the best thing I would prefer would be simple topics in the four valve head I think that should We also use them in all our large Porsche conversions, so we have a great deal of experience programming everything ourselves everything goes here in our house for Golf for Porsche for other models on request even if we should do something there we have already gone away and Subaru and all that stuff we have already done a few individual things but that works in many Because the car has a control unit and is very easy to program, it also works well with the double-clutch cars, which very few control units can do and because it knows it is compatible with the series control unit, all other functions in the car are also completely retained so on and so on, everything is preserved, yes, there is only one very, very big disadvantage ahl away control unit if the savex installs if you have to drive over to the TÜV he can't find an engine control unit can't take an exhaust gas measurement that means of course you would fail so that means if you have installed a control unit away for a while it is actually not legal for normal road use That means if you still want to drive around with it and then drive to the TÜV or to the main inspection, however, you will have diarrhea in 99.9% of cases, so you have to keep switching to the safe control unit so that you can theoretically go to the TÜV That's exactly why we use the original control unit up to 600 because that's the version that is also driven on the road with such a 750 hp version, we actually assume that it's not used in teleservice road traffic but a few more to drag races motorsport Fun event, whatever yes, has the big advantage Cybex you have Map switch, that means you can drive different programs with different fuel quality, of course, has the advantage that you say I'm going abroad today, I don't know, but I only get bad fuel with 98 octane, so you only drive on map one or two with little boost pressure and little ignition that you don't overload the engine but if you say I'm going to my racing event now the tank is empty and just run petrol in it turns on the largest map ne really a lot of ignition really a lot of boost pressure you have a high level of safety because of your racing petrol and exhaust gas temperature and then you can have fun there again and then just turn the power back and forth as you like, that's really cool, for example things like the anti-lag system, yes, that means yes you can do it, yes you can can make a fire that pops and pranks and all that kind of thing so you can do a lot of nice things rolling boost and yes what else works with the series control unit but it is difficult where you just talked about different petrol qualities we can maybe go into that one question was also performance with E85 E85 methanol 85% mixed with 15% normal Super Plus or whatever has a high So the octane number is good for the performance, so the octane is around 110 114, it's great to program, everything's great, but you had about 40 percent more consumption and the 40's more 40 percent more consumption, of course , it has to be ensured with larger nozzles and larger pumps in the tank and everything that you can also just make enough fuel available and that's more of a problem with the normal Golf 7rs because the petrol system isn't exactly oversized , that is, if I didn't change anything there and would just pour in 85 anyway and then just reprogram the whole thing works at a maximum power of maybe 300 hp because then my fuel system is there at the end s means I wouldn't have really done much of it , so it's only worth it if you massively rebuild the car and the tank system in particular is rather difficult to build on the cars because the tank is difficult to access, the two openings in it are so small that you can do that If you want to see who can work in there with two hands, I've already done it, so that's more of a disaster, that means from the E85, please, we haven't tried the car yet, we've tried it several times at Porsche, but we still have it in the Golf not done because the hurdles are simply too big to get a reasonable result and above all a very big disadvantage of the E85 is you burn the fuel in the engine and the rest of the fuel that remains goes into the oil and if you stop ethanol in the oil you have alcohol in the oil that dilutes the oil, that means your oil quality drops very quickly and yes, accordingly, you then have a high Rei faster bung because then the oil is simply no longer correct, its quality can still be maintained and yes, that means it can of course lead to engine damage sooner or later if you don’t change your oil regularly then we have checked that off yes okay then we have the drive train here, so the drive train doesn't really have to be adjusted much, so we haven't had any problems with it so far, of course, the clutch definitely has to be done, but otherwise there won't be any torn off drive shafts or a cardan shaft that has twisted, so toi toi toi fortunately a very good thing in the car that also works, but do you know from the acceleration races, the quarter-mile races, how many people drive a Deco 250 with 1000 hp and a 4Motion drive system, in principle without major changes, and drive there at breakneck times, so the four-wheel drive and drive things as a whole are at VW apparently designed by another department than the engine four things hauenriede hits the things are definitely
