are you looking for golf clubs to buy as a beginner golfer have you heard that golf is an expensive sport to get started well in this video we're going to show you absolutely everything you need to get started for under 150 and if you stay till the end we'll show you how you can even do it for free stay tuned hey everybody this is matt from that golf couple and welcome to the channel this is a channel where we're going to give you everything that you need as a beginner golfer so this video particularly is video one of a big ultimate buyer's guide today we're going to talk beginners and the club essentials that you need to get started so if that is a question that you have and you want to learn more about consider subscribing because we're going to have a ton of content coming out and we're here to save you money we're here to get you to the golf course we have no particular products to push you'll see that in this video um so if that's something that that resonates with you consider subscribing and i hope you enjoy the content here we go so i am on my computer right now i'm literally going to show you on the computer what i would do and how we would go about it so let's hop to it i want to show you guys on ebay so i'm going to go right here to the search bar and type in golf wood now i'm going to do a golf wood because you can hit that off the t and off the fairway we'll get into specifically what those are but it's a very versatile club so i'm going to go in here on the left and then pick if you're right-handed or left if you're not sure of which one that you are use what hand you throw dominantly with if you've played any other sports before use your judgment if you're starting from the beginning there's no wrong answer i'll see probably 90 some percent of people play right handed but if you're lefty congratulations so i'll go here to right-handed these flexes in the shafts i'll get into those but when you're getting started ladies pick the ladies ones guys if you're a little younger like i am i would at least go stiff um if not regular um so let's let's search regular in the middle of the road um i'm gonna go down here to fairway wood and just and just get in there and that's all the things that you really need right now and let's look at what they have under under 50.
They have an under 35 section here i'm telling you i'm here to save you guys money i want you guys to enjoy it um perfect right here 34.8 cents for a three wood let's go to the buy it now because i know some of those can be like the bidding can go up on it ooh an r7 right here i used to have i literally used to have this is a 7 wood i used to have the 3 wood here i would look for like a three or a five wood those are perfect you're not gonna go wrong with the seven wood a seven wood just has a little more loft we'll go into like what the lofts are um in in other videos uh but see i'm like scrolling down and if you by the way if you guys have questions um put the link in your of the product that you're looking for in the comments like we'll check it out i want to make sure that you guys are confident in what you're buying and this is a perfect way to get started this is perfect right here tailor-made burner i would stick to the main brands you're not going to find something way off but here's a tailor-made club ideal for getting started this is freaking perfect you know many people had this club in the day this is so retro i love this i you know i'm going to keep this video nice and short for you guys because if i go into it i think i'm probably going to want to start buying a club here um but you find what you're looking for right make sure it's not in super crappy condition but 34 to to get that part um so okay go back and just just kind of look at and you can check it based on the condition that it's in you know if you want a set oh my gosh these are the clubs i used to have when i started out i had irons i remember this they were this this copper color oh my gosh this is so nostalgic right now that's so cool but guys find something that like looks cool to you like something that gives you a little confidence when when you see it these these nike clubs they're great 23 bucks plus shipping cleveland makes a good club you cannot go wrong in all these so go there and then go golf iron number two moving right along take as much time as you want for looking for what you're after now the beautiful part about ebay is i can go down here and pick specifically what iron i want so we want to get you a long iron and basically a long iron is a club that you can hit from the fairway that's going to have picture so picture we're on like a like a flat field here the three woods going to be like low and far the iron is going to be a little higher and not as far and then the wedge is going to be higher and even shorter and then the putter is something you use like in mini golf so this is a and so you can do the same thing i'm gonna hit seven iron that's kind of like seven iron six iron um i would go with one of those maybe even a five you can't go wrong so i'll go right-handed i will go regular flex and find your respective one if it's for ladies and if it's for guys use the stiff ones um this is perfect and then you can go to either graphite or steel that's just what the um the actual shaft of the club is made out of um so this is perfect okay 35 dollars at the most listen look at this right here m27 iron do you know how hot of a club that is i have the m2 driver i currently play the m2 driver such a nice club 35 so what are we up to 70 bucks so far and you know that's like a super nice club you can go even more discount than that you can go a whole lot cheaper um so i'm gonna go pick an iron then i'm gonna go to golf wedge all you need is one wedge and you're gonna start seeing a bunch of numbers don't panic i'm going to break down specifically what those are and what you really need to look for the ebay is actually going to do it for you over here on the left the loft so basically think of this as uh if you're hitting this way this is zero degrees of loft and then a driver is like nine degrees and then it starts going up and up and up and then the wedges are like this which get from anywhere from 48 to 64.
Go with like uh like a 52 54 56. you're going to see the majority of them are at there in 56. um pick which respective hand you are right handed or left um guys wedges are going to be super cheap super super cheap 35 bucks so those are pretty cool tools for for 20 bucks that's pretty cool like i said i'm gonna end up spending money so i'm gonna keep it short and sweet um twenty dollars twenty six dollars um don't worry about all the like callaway x forged it's a 56 degree wedge steel shaft is what it's made of you can search for all those things over there you can search men's you can search women's they break it down and make it so easy for you and listen just find one that like looks cool me personally big fan of callaway and there's a pool noodle in the back all right let's keep it let's keep it rolling but there's look at this such a nice club and then so just go and like look at it a little bit and so the reason i'm doing ebay is because if you go to and you can do this too go to like callawaygolfpreowned.com i think golf galaxy has like used golf clubs online i'm just talking online shopping they are going to uh let me show you used golf clubs they're gonna try and sell them and not show you the exact club some of them at least tgw might do it i know global golf they they get a little tricky with what you're buying you want to actually look at the club that you're going to buy i think that just brings a little bit of credibility to it um so let's go to use these are all used golf clubs do any of these look used to you guys i mean they're all brand new they're just the model and so they're gonna come to you with like a scuffed face or don't waste your money doing that stuff just look on ebay what you see is what you get the easiest way to get it done right there and so now we'll go golf putter i'm telling you guys these four clubs that's all that you're gonna need so here's a perfect putter 15 plus a bunch of shipping um this one right here this this callaway uh putter great putter um but guys it's fine there's just so many golf clubs on here 30 bucks you know you know you don't have to go spend a once look at this a gold bullseye putter 15 that's so retro but this is guys this is where you're gonna start right here you know we want to give you guys the tools to get you out to the golf course and be able to enjoy yourselves and that's what it's really about there's so much information and get started but don't let the narrative that golf is an expensive sport be the thing that keeps you from something that you may enjoy i know speaking from cj and i's perspective golf has been an incredible source of friendship um of of all the relationships that i have the majority the the vast majority have come from golf and you know you get to build your relationships on there it's just such a wonderful place to be we'll do charity tournaments um i'll go out and hang out with the guys and and we'll just shoot the [ __ ] out there uh it's such a fun game and we want you guys to get started and this if i was was had no clubs this is where i would start i would go here number one i would check with my friends if anyone has clubs number two if i want to spend you're going to be spending less than 150 dollars doing this by far and so you can go on um golf bag as well and you can get a golf bag here uh let's go and just keep it uh yeah let's see under sixty five dollars let's see what comes up i mean sixty bucks uh these are not uh the kind of golf bags thirty dollars plus sixty dollars shipping you gotta be kidding me thirty dollars perfect sunday bag sunday bag nice and light so what a sunday bag is is it's a lighter version it's not gonna have all these pockets that you're gonna see in other ones guys this is perfect less than 200 you can have everything that you need and then so what i would do from here and i'll uh link up a couple descriptions for you just go to amazon this is such an easy way and you need two things golf balls no particular type of golf balls any ones that you see on here that you like oh there's even pink ones wow there's colored ones you know perfect right here i'm gonna link these in the description twelve dollars for one dozen golf balls they're like you know you want to get more of them 48 recycle golf balls and recycled are still good those are the ones that i hit in the pond that someone decided to clean up and sell back to you so good for them you know 30 bucks for 48 of them less than a dollar a ball that's incredible so you're gonna go there and if you wanna like really feel the part go get some golf tees and guys this is like you know now we're starting to get into like accessories we got plenty of other videos on accessories golf bag items but this is specifically for having everything that you need to get started equipment wise you know i could play without a t it's nice to have teas though seven bucks for a hundred tees guys it's not an expensive sport to go play and we're gonna do other videos that's gonna show you that when you go to play golf like we'll show you the times where it's a little more affordable and you're gonna have like it's less busy so you kind of have time to explore the space here is your pro tip here is how you can do it for absolutely free now one thing about the golf community that i've learned and cj has learned for over 20 plus years of experience between the two of us is that golfers are extremely generous people i know that cj got a push card for next to nothing she got her first set of golf clubs for free so ask a friend ask you're going to have people around you can even post on facebook to see if anybody has clubs or anyone's interested in going to the range the range is where you go and practice hitting the golf ball which is the first experience in golf that you're going to want to take to the course so that'll be your first step reach out to your friends to your family to anybody that you know and see if there's any golfers who would be interested in going to the range and just say that you're a beginner golfer you don't want to spend a ton of money and you're just looking to try out a couple clubs and ask if you can try theirs they will be so happy and enthusiastic that you want to go play golf and they'll give you some tips along the way go with somebody who already knows a little bit and can
