[Music] hello and welcome back to my channel my name is tiffany and today we are at norcal golf academy in walnut creek we are going to be comparing my old taylormade m4 4 hybrid with the new taylormade sim max hybrid now i have to say my hybrid is my least favorite club in the bag so that's why we're starting here i do like the way that the m4 sets up to the ball i like the way that it feels i just find that you know i don't really hit a whole lot of like snap hooks or fades out on the course and with the hybrid i get some very squirrely shots so the positives you're really able to shape the ball with it but i find from my own personal experience that um it's not the most consistent ever for me now there is a little bit of user error here i do tend to come a little inside a little over the top but i would like to find a club that works with my swing even on its off days so i know the twist face technology does help quite a bit with that that's going to be a part of both the m4 hybrid and the sim max so let's see which one does better moving on to the sim max oh and feel free to pause this at any time if you want to check out the numbers a little bit more closely so with the new sim mags it's known for having this new v-steel technology that helps you perform better from difficult lives definitely helpful with a rescue or a hybrid club it does have the twist face technology to help straighten out the ball a bit which is exactly what i'm looking for i did find after my very first swing with this club it came off the club face so nice it felt so pure uh i turned around to my friend and said i'm sold we can go home now obviously hit a few more shots wanted to make sure that it's repeatable but as far as how the ball felt coming off the center of the clubface it felt so much better than my m4 maybe because i don't find the center as often with the m4 who knows as far as the numbers go how far the ball was going at the ball speed my spin i didn't see there was too big of a difference between the two clubs but i will say what really set the two apart is the way that the ball felt coming off the club face and the way that the club face set up to the ball so the way that things feel and look are very important to me i find that it makes a big difference in my confidence levels especially when i'm pulling a rescue which typically i'm not in the best place on the golf course so i highly recommend the simmax i would love to make the switch i think it's a little bit more reliable than the m4 and i'd be curious to see what you have to say i hope you found this video helpful give it a thumbs up subscribe and comment below what you'd like to see next
