Hi, I'm Coach Shayain. Welcome
to my YouTube channel today. I'm going to be talking about
flags and the different colors that there are on the golf course. One of my YouTube subscribers had asked, and then I've been asked
multiple times after that. So I figured I would do a video for you. So everybody understands
at the end of this video, I have already spoken about this in
a previous YouTube video of mine, but it seems like it might've
gotten lost in translation. So let. Me help clear the air since we're here. If you see a white flag, that means that on the green, when you're about to hit and you look
out and you look at the different flags, you might see. A red, white, or blue flag, sometimes
yellow, but let's stick with red, white blue.

If the flag is red, that means that the hole is
in the front of the green. So if you take a little step back, here's a massive practice green
that I'm going to show you what the front, middle and black would look
like. Let's pretend this flag is red. So this would be the front
of the green right here.

I've just teed off 130 yard
shot. This flag is red. It's in the front of the
green. Hey, if it's white. It would be in the middle of the
green, which was where we just were. So what does that tell you
that tells you it's 130 yard hole. It's a par 330 yards is to the middle of the green. So if. The flag was in the front, it
could be possibly 120 yards. That's the kind of information
the flag is telling you, what club are you going to pull out? If it's 120 yards versus 130 yard shot, which is the flag white in the middle. If this flag was blue, follow me, it would be in the back of the green. So now this has just become 140 yard shot because 10 yard difference. So that would be a very different
club that I would be using. So if it was me
specifically 120 yard shot, I would use my eight iron.

The
flag was in the middle and white. It would be 130 yard shot. I would use my seven iron in the
back of the green for the 140. Yard shot with a blue flag.
I would use my six iron. So if we're trying. To figure out flag and what club to use, you need to look at the scorecard, see what it says for yardage and always
know that's to the middle of the green. Then when up and you're looking out,
you're like, Ooh, it's red. So, you know, maybe you don't need to crush. It as hard and put all your crazy energy. Nice, smooth swing. And you know,
your ball will go in the middle. That's always our goal. So I
really hope that this helped. And I do read the comments. So make sure if you have any questions
for any other topics you want me to cover comment below as well as, let me know
if you understand what red, white, and blue stands for.
