Hello, golfers. Matt Paulsenberg, director
of instruction at The Farm at Point Grey Golf and Country Club, coming to you
as a PXG ambassador. Got the brand-new GEN5 Driver. This
thing is a beauty. So, thought I'd give a give a little bit of a tip
for hitting the driver a little bit better and trying to hit a few more fairways. Very often, I see golfers come in and we have slices. Let's say slices are a problem. We
can even hook it with this but we see bad alignment. So, at impact, I want players to understand that the
hips are more open than the shoulders.
So, for many players, the hips travel slow and then we'll see his shoulders
start opening up and that causes all sorts of contact issues.
So, you can do this working in a mirror where you're just working on the feels
of getting those hips open but still feeling like those shoulders
are square.
So, if I take that away from there, I feel like those hips are really opening up for this.
So, I get rid of that and then crank a drive. This thing feels great..
