hi Kirk Junge here for learning golf TV if you
viewed my recent video on showing you why the   single plane swing is easier than conventional
to repeat or the have taken the single plane   challenge then I wanted to show you how you can
go about converting from conventional ball to the   single plane golf swing which is far superior the
single plane swing is much easier to repeat that's   what we showed you in the challenge and now I'm
going to just give you a few short tips on how   you can improve if you read under the video in
the description there's a lot of links and so on   where you can get more information about the
single plane golf swing and basically what I   want to show you is once you're in the proper
setup position where the club is in line with   your trail arm this is the the difference between
single plane and conventional golf is that we're   setting up here with our trailing arm on the same
plane we wish to make impact on conventional golf   you set up here and impact is here and setting
up on a single plane will work wonders for your   accuracy and you should also gain distance because
you're always returning the club head square at   impact so what I want you to do if you want to
convert instead of setting up like this I want   you to try to slowly raise your hands up and
maybe move a couple inches farther away so the   hands are slowly working their way up here and
normally what's happening when you're switching   over from conventional to single plane is as
you're still pulling away as you needed to do   in conventional ball you'll hit the ball is a
little bit thin for those that go all the way   from conventional the single plane in one day
you're going to have to really make sure that   you mean can your spine angle bent forward
through impact otherwise you're going to hit   a lot of tops and pin shops for those that wish
to take the gradual approach what I recommend is   simply setting up with the hand slightly raised
up everything else is the same and what you can   do is try to keep a little bit make a lot of
half swings and stay bent forward maybe make   some swings like this half swings first to get the
feeling for solid ball contact so basically set   up if you're normally conventionally here just
try to move a little bit maybe halfway between   conventional and single plane and you can also
try to keep maybe your right foot a little bit   flatter on the ground like this and see at the end
it came up in conventional golf where really has   a lot of hip turn which most people never really
master anyway and so what we're going to do with   single-plane as we stand farther away and we have
the single plane set up we're going to hit with   more of a flat feet position at impact which
adds the stability needed something like that   so I want you to just give it a try set change
gravity to change your setup or you can visit   my website at learning golf dot TV there's some
