Broken? Impossible. some of you already left a comment, saying that offroad tyres are a must for the Golf Country and of course there's a large choice of offroad tyres on Ebay of course I thought of the spare wheel the good thing is that they come in the Golfs' original size, so I don't have to get them registered and these are all-season tyres so I can leave them on over winter the only thing they're missing is the white lettering that I like but I found something for that as well I got these tyre markers and with them I'm gonna turn the lettering white I got the tyres mounted at the garage and I think they already look pretty dope but I thought about what to do with the rim I think it already looks pretty good but could be better then I had the idea to paint the rims white like rally cars often have it in this case painting isn't the best idea because the rims are pretty rare but I found something on Ebay this is spray on foil from Foliatec and I'm gonna use that to foil the rims white I really love both auxiliary headlights in the front so I decided to put four more on the roof and to do that I not only need 4 headlights, but also wires and a roof rack and for the switch I decided to simply use the one for the rear window heating because it will perfectly fit into the dashboard a few slots are still free and of course it will keep the original look people as clumsy as me should probably keep their hands off of real glas headlights first thing I'm gonna do is put these covers back on In case you were wondering why I decided to use halogen headlights and not something like LED-bars first of I think it's way more nostalgic with halogen headlights and it suits the car way better and secondly these Hella headlights with the H2 socket don't come with LEDs and there are no retrofitting LED bulbs for the H2 socket anyways, I'm gonna put on the covers now now it's time to take care of the Golfs' interior this is the old radio, it's definitely not the original one but also not a modern one with bluetooth or USB connection but I found something pretty interesting on Ebay this is a radio from Continental which is actually a tyre manufacturer this radio looks really old, almost like the original one that used to be in the Golf but comes with all the modern features like bluetooth and I think also DAB plus that should be pretty easy to install I just have to put it in, connect it, and it's done! one thing that I definitely want the Golf to have is a roof tent! You can find quite a few on Ebay, this one doesn't even cost 900 EUR and that definitely turns the Golf into the ultimate offroad camper I'm very excited what this is gonna look like and what it can do as far as I can tell it seems very reasonable for once I'm gonna read the instructions and figure out how to put it on the roof I even have 3 spare roof racks because I could only get them as a double pack but I think I'll only need two of them something's missing well, what shall I say? I think the Golf turned out to be an amazing vehicle it was definitely a lot of fun repairing, painting and rebuilding it and to turn it into this awesome car the vehicle is now pretty much street ready only a few minor details to take care of and maybe you'll even see one or another trip with this car on my channel stay tuned! until then, have fun and take care!
