in this video we'll show you how you can
set up your garmin vivoactive 4 or garmin venu to play a round of golf
this will require your smartphone the Garmin Connect app and what we'll do
first is download the golf course that we're going to go play and show you how
you can quickly play around using the controls on the watch so let's flip over
to our Garmin Connect and find a golf course from the bottom right we'll tap
on the more icon and in our settings screen we'll tap on download golf
courses from here we can tap on the plus icon on the top right and you either
search by name or sorted by our current location the list of golf courses want
to download and as simple as tapping on the download icon and we can viewed our
downloaded golf courses by going back a screen and can tap on each one to get a
view of the map and directions and all that once we've synched with our watch
we can flip back and start around we're ready to go to the course and play
around so we're gonna press the start button and we're gonna go and scroll and
find our golf app it's not listed here you can always download it from garmin
connect we'll look for some satellites we can opt to skip this because we're
inside at the moment and it's going to sync the course here is the course that
we downloaded we can tap on it you can see we're going to have details for each
hole right here and we can choose whether I want to keep score in this
round and yes I do and from here basically you have all the details of
the room you can actually press the a button here have a bunch of options you
want to enter a score for a hole just tap on the pencil and then find the hole
that you're doing and you can hit the plus or minus depending on your score
enter your score that way the other thing you do if you're behind trees you
can always tap on this and this will help you outline your shot towards the
pin head back and when we're done with the with around we can end around by
just tapping on end and they can see our round summary here we have the option to
save it at score final score discard or I'm gonna discard and if you save it you
can always resume this for next round here based on one of the options there
