Thanks so much for joining us today. So, even though 50% of the population is endowed with a breast line, it's one of those things that we often don't talk about too much, as we're learning about the golf swing, and how the breast line
can affect our game. Many golfers in fact, don't even realize, how adversely their lack of
knowledge about the breast line, and how it affects their swing,
is playing in their game. So, in today's video, we're going to talk a little
bit about the breast line, and how we can work to make sure, it doesn't half serve as the
hindrance to your golf swing. (soft, chilled music) So when it comes to our golf swing, the breast, or any mass
of flesh for that matter, essentially can work to
constrict our ability to rotate fully into our golf motion, and to complete moving
the club down the path into the target line. 'Cause essentially, that's
the name of the game. So what happens here, is essentially this.
Many golfers will have their
arms around the breast. My arms are here, kind
of affixed to the ribs. The problem becomes when I rotate, if you notice, there's no room for me to come on through, I'm kinda crooked here, and essentially what you gonna find, for right handed golfer often times, you're pulling left, right? Unless we learn how to fix that, and you gonna be excited, because it's a quick and simple fix, we're gonna have those problems. We wanna be able to have a full, arcing, fluid swing and so
that's what we're gonna get, right now! (soft, chilled music) But first, can you do me a favor? If this content is adding value, and you're learning some things, do me a kind of favor.

simple and easy fix to this. I'm gonna show you how right now. So, let's back up here a little bit. Instead of setting up with our arms here, close to our side, on those ribs that we're talking about, setting up like this.
For the lefty in me, again,
setting up like this. What I'm gonna do is begin, by getting into developing the habit of bringing our arms over the breast line, so essentially, they are
sitting on top of the flesh, versus again, the initial
positions here where, all I can do is kind of at best turn, and kind of give a half-hearted swing. So, by bringing those arms
over the breast line, right? Now I have the club in place, you'll see, that I have a nice, full extension there, and I'm going to be able
to turn in my rotation, come down the line and
finish toward my target. And really, that's what
we wanna be able to do.
Again, this is all about
being able to rotate fully, toward our target, and moving
the club down that club path. Now, it's gonna feel a
little bit awkward at first, especially if you've
been playing for a while, and you've gotten accustomed to kind of, tucking your arms here and making it work, but I promise you a little bit of practice and development of this new habit, your swing will improve
and you'll get used to it! So, keep practicing! I will see you in the next video. (soft, chilled music).
