You know how it is. Golf is a tough game. So we need to find some
ways to make it easier. Things that you can take
to the golf course without practicing a ton. And I'm gonna show you a really
easy way to swing the club and a tiny change that is gonna give
you more consistency to hit the ball. Solid. Let me tell you
a story about Barry. Barry is a member of our online club. And a few weeks back, he sent me
through an email, a clip of his swing. Now Barry is like so many of you. He was bogged down with all the
tiny things that he should not be thinking about. His swing
was like a bag of mixed spans, trying to sort of connect all these
positions, all these parts together.

And one of them was very
much specifically the risks. He was so conscious about his takeaway
about what his risks were doing. And what that was encompassing
was at the top of the swing. He was casting it at the takeaway. He was whipping it on the inside. Now he's been playing golf
for a couple of decades. So he was kind of stuck in his ways. So it had to be something that gave him
the confidence that he could trust to use on every single shot. It reduces variables. What
do I mean by that? Well, the swing has kind of a
lot going on, doesn't it? And we don't want a rigid swing.
We want flow in our swing, but we also want some form of
structure that reduces variables.

Whether that's the wrists, whether that's
the arms, whether that's the rotation. We want simplicity, having less to think about when
you just stand there and trust that you can hit a golf shot is only a good
thing because too many swing thoughts, trying to place positions, you can't swing your way
around a golf course. You have to react to the target.
So we need a swing that is simpler. variable, cause it's going to
make it just a little bit easier, a little bit simpler for
you to just strike the ball out the center of the face, without
worrying too much about, you know, cocking the wrist.

Unhinging the wrist. I don't mean that you have to be
dead, straight and rigid, but Alex, you always say you've gotta have
supple wrist. Use the wrist for speed. Yes, but this is for those of
you who are doing it too much. If you don't try and move
them, but keep supple on this, you're gonna get plenty of speed, but
we're looking for consistent contact. So there's some main keys
that I want you to apply. Whether it's off the tee, whether
it's off the fairway, rough hybrids, whatever you want to have supple wrists.

Even though I'm saying to take
the hands out of the golf swing, we still want to have suppleness. You still want feel the
weight of the club. Okay. Number two is yes. We are wanting to sort of deaden
the wrists a little bit. Okay. But we still really want to just allow it to happen. We're just not trying to
consciously hinge or the wrist either by pushing down, it's almost gonna feel like
a straight arm golf swing. Think of it like Tommy Fleetwood.
If you have a Tommy Fleetwood swing, it's a little bit firmer with the wrist,
a little bit firmer with the arms. And that's what it looks like
to really emphasize this, to get the most outta your golf shots,
we're gonna start using the core. So the swing is gonna be guided
by the core on the way back and on the way through, okay, this is
the engine, whether it's the sternum, the core, this is the engine that we want
to have taking the hands out, feeling the weight of the club,
using the core and getting And the cool thing is if you wanna
be a really good wedge player, this is gonna help a ton.

Some of
the best pitchers in the world, Steve Stricker, Jason Day, Jordan SP they all sort of
take the risks outta the action because we want a shallow sort of
angle of attack. Use more wrists. Things can get a bit steeper. So if we don't try and
use the wrist at all, it's almost gonna feel
like we are brushing it. And that is going to give you a reliable
sort of contact. Now, see it is still, you know, hinging just a little
bit, but I'm not trying to do it. I can still feel the way to the club, but my emphasis is core
maintaining this triangle here, okay. Which is
maintaining the triangle, rotating the core through and
feeling like it's relatively dead hands. And what you'll
get is nice, smooth, sweeping strikes. I'm gonna
show you a little feel. That's gonna give you
just a little bit more oo, when you want it. And this simple feel is, as you are coming through, you're gonna feel almost like you
are brushing just a little forehand, whether you've played ping pong tennis, it's just a little motion like that
feeling in the bottom sort of muscles of your trail hand, you're just gonna
wipe over.

But here's the thing. We are having a sensation that the
club head is not passing the hands. So from here, you
can see, as I swing through, that's the feeling almost
like I'm wiping up. What that's gonna do is give a little
bit of extra zip where you need it without losing that control. But that is a little extra boost to get
maybe 10, 20 more yards off your drives, but with the consistency you need.
So there we have it, my friend, that is one of the best ways I know to
give you the confidence in your contact. So you can go out and play without
having to stress about too much. It worked for Barry and you can
get a free trial to the art, simple golf club below. Now, check out this lesson that is gonna
give you the emphasis that we've touched on here to take it to the next
level.

And I'll see you next time..
