Assalam u alaikum , Today we will learn basics of sketchup Such as how to draw walls , ground/floor And hopefully if the video doesnt get too lengthy I will also draw doors and windows in this part of the video Otherwise in the part 2 i will teach you how to draw doors , windows and stairs I am gonna start the modeling from a very basic and simple floor plan ::Dimension are (31' , 30' ) in the autocad tutorial video i have used these dimensions as well for the 2D plan Same to same i m following here as well If you face any problems kindly mention in the comments section I will further explain that in the coming videos Rectangle tool : 31' , 30' press enter double click , then Right click -> Make group The reason to make groups from it are that later after making the model if we wanna make changes it will create problems due to this little mistake our whole model may lead us to delete the whole model so its better to create groups of every model part Push Pull : 1' Select tape tool and follow the video 9" from each side again rectangle tool and do the same as in the video Height of the wall 11' Same to same on the other sides as well double click didnt work because i forgot to invert the face.
But dont worry wait a bit it is explained how invert face works gray side will push/pull it down words , white side upwards front wall i wl create in the end. so the view wl be clear for modling. as the area is less so i m drawing the bathrooms in the center. 2rooms in left and right side the reason of making a simple 3D model is that you just learn the basics of sketchup modeling width of room 14' 9" wall 2.5' to the right and left from the center bathroom width 5' Bathroom wall 4.5" 2' open space for bathroom vent Save the model after every changes made to it line from the center point and the offset of 2.25" on left and right .
2.25+2.25=4.5 delete the center line make group Psuh pull 11' 1' from the center to left and right . then from top of the wall downwards 1' using tape tool for making hollow Push pull the rectangle equal to the width of the wall which is 4.5" so this the ventillation of bath1 sorry not washroom ( Kitchen ) my mistake.. 8' x 7' kitchen dimensions now time to put doors go to file, then open 3D warehouse where you can find readymade models download the model click on the move tool and then press control this works as a copy command double click on wall and use rectangle tool draw rectangle from 1st point to the end point of the door and then extrude same to same here as well same process for the kitchen as well rotate 180degrees undo : ctrl+z right click-> flip along red Enough for the Part 1 in the next video you will learn about windows you will learn how to create your own door model slab, main gate and materials How to render realist view on VRAY If the video was helpful Kindly Like, comment, Share and SUBSRIBE!
